Misogyny — the hate crime that dare not speak its name
“No, Mr Albanese, it was not ‘an act of violence indiscriminately targeted at innocent people’
Rather, a man deliberately discriminated against and targeted innocent women.”
Last Saturday, a monstrous misogynist hunted down and butchered five women and slashed and stabbed a nine month old baby at a Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi, Sydney.
The baby survived, her mother did not.
He also murdered the brave male security guard who tried to intervene.
If the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that misogyny doesn’t just run through every culture on earth, it hops, skips, jumps, canters and gallops.
Reality doesn’t care how you feel
Men are not equally victimised and predated on by women.
Male violence extends to both men and women.
And females do not commit violent acts at anywhere near the rate of males.
